MS Project is project management software and part of Microsoft's extended Office family. With MS Project, you can plan and track different processes, manage resources such as personnel, time or financial budgets, and schedule and monitor projects.
The price depends on which version and edition of MS Project you want to buy. The cheapest licences are for MS Project 2019 Standard Edition, while a licence for the current version, MS Project 2024 Professional Edition, has the highest purchase price. If, for example, you want to buy a used MS Project 2024 licence, you must decide on an edition (Standard or Professional). The Professional Edition enables team collaboration and synchronisation via Microsoft SharePoint or Project Online, which is not possible with the Standard Edition.
