Word word processing not only allows you to write correspondence or create documentation, but also offers a wide range of advanced functions for structuring, automating and formatting texts of all types and lengths. The Excel spreadsheet is suitable for ad-hoc evaluations or calculations as well as for complex, dynamised reports. Even large amounts of data can be easily structured, analysed and prepared graphically in the form of diagrams. PowerPoint makes it easier to create presentations that can be dynamically designed and enhanced with various elements (e.g. graphics, videos). Outlook is a mail client with which you can also manage contact information, appointments and tasks.
In the current 2024 versions, ActiveX controls are no longer executed by default, and Microsoft has also integrated improvements to the design, accessibility and interaction with smartphones. 14 new text and array functions have been added to Excel and it is now possible for diagrams to refer to dynamic arrays. The recovery of unsaved content in Word files has also been improved.
